How many guests does the Hideaway sleep?
We can accomodate 9 guests. If you wish to have more guests during the day or to take part in celebrations at the house we ask you to discuss this with us in advance.

What happens when I book?
Once we have recieved your enquiry we will send you a booking form with our terms and conditions for your consideration. You will have 48 hours to confirm your booking by returning the completed booking form. A deposit of 50% of the stay will be due within two weeks of booking and the remaining balance two weeks before you arrive. We will send you a link to all the information you should need before and during your stay including up to date health and safety advice.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you have to cancel for any reason before your stay, we will try to move your date for you but will not be able to offer a refund. We will always try to be reasonable and if you have to cancel for unavoidable reasons we will move your date wherever possible.

Do you allow hen dos?
The Hideaway is the perfect place for celebrations such as hen dos and birthdays. We welcome quiet and respectful groups at the Hideaway but ask all guests to follow our guidance for safety and respecting our property. Noise should be kept down after 10pm and kept inside the house, not in the courtyard. Decorations should only be used in the main living areas and cleared up fully before you leave.

Do you welcome children?
We do welcome children at the Enchanted Hideaway but ask guests to be aware that the property is not specifically designed for families with young children. As such there are no stair gates or travel cots provided. We have detailed safety advice for those travelling with children which involved being aware that the front door opens to the main road and there are several decorations which may be a chocking hazard. Please contact us before booking to discuss.

Is there a garden at the Hideaway?
There is a small courtyard to the rear of the property. Due to close neighbours this is not suitable for socialising in and we ask guests to keep noise in this area to a minimum. There is a large green space just a couple of minutes walk away from the Enchanted Hideaway at Elizabeth Park and Royal Victoria Park is just over the bridge and offers a lovely place for picnics and barbeques.

What time is check in and check out?
Guests can check in from 4pm on the day of arrival. We will text you with the code to our lockbox when the house is ready for your arrival, which is sometimes before this time. Check out on the day of departure is 10am so that our housekeeper has time to get the house ready for our next guests. If we do not have guests arriving on the same day we may be able to accomodate a later check out but will not be able to tell you this until the week of your arrival.

How far is the house from the city centre?
The Hideaway is located on the Lower Bristol Road. The city centre is approximate 15 minute flat walk away via Sainsbury's car park and Green Park Station.

Is there parking at the Hideaway?
There is offstreet parking directly outside of the Hideaway for up to two cars. This is directly off the main road and cars should not block the public footpath in anyway. There are single yellows and parking bays which can be parked on after 6pm and before 8am and some free two hour parking on Brougham Hayes and Dorset Close.

What is provided at the Hideaway?
We try and provide our guests with the most comfortable experience possible. We provide bedding, towels, tea and coffee making facilities and basic toilettries for our guests. We also provide hairdryers. There are dustpans and brushes, a hoover for makeup spills and cleaning materials. The kitchen is equipped with everything you should need to cook a meal. We do not provide an ironing board and there is not laundry facilities at the property. However, if you need assistance during your stay we will help wherever we can.
